The Bus and the Tire
With love for every Jew – every son and daughter of the King

How do the stipends of thousands of your scholars always arrive on time?
A great Torah scholar asked Rav Yoram a question.

Another stop – more passengers!
Rav Yoram answered with a parable: "Picture a city bus going from stop to stop…"

Psssss…
"But if there's a tiny hole in the tire, the air slowly leaks out…"

We're stuck in the middle of the road!
"And when the bus fills up, the tire goes flat – and the bus gets stuck in the middle of the road!"

What a smooth ride!
There's room for everyone!
"But when there's no hole at all, the bus keeps going – with one passenger or with fifty!"

No personal interest – no flat tire!
Now I understand!
The lesson: when you do everything for Heaven's sake, with no personal interest at all – everything succeeds.
