The Coconut Candy

With love for every Jew – every son and daughter of the King

  1. Abba, I want a coconut candy!

When Rabbi Yisrael Abergel, Rav Yoram's son, was a little boy, he asked for a special treat.

  2. When I come back from my class in Be'er Sheva, I'll bring you one!

Rav Yoram wanted to make him happy – and he promised.

  3. Hello, everyone! Let's begin the class.

That day, Rav Yoram gave a class in Be'er Sheva.

  4. Do you have coconut candy?

Not today… maybe a different sweet?

On the way back, Rav Yoram stopped at a shop. But that very day, there was no coconut candy.

  5. I promised – and a promise is kept!

But Rav Yoram knew his son wanted coconut and nothing else. After a long day of classes, he walked from shop to shop.

  6. Here you go, my son – I promised!

    Thank you, Abba!

Until he found it! Rav Yoram kept every word he said.
