Every Lira for Torah
Rav Yoram's parents were poor – but every lira went to their children's Torah learning.

There was great poverty at home. But every lira, every penny, went to one goal.

Every lira – for Yoram's yeshiva!
Ima packed the suitcase with love.

Thank you, Ima! I'll learn with joy!
And cookies too – for strength!
Yoram went off to learn in yeshivot: "Beit Yehuda" in Kfar Maimon, "Tiferet Tzvi" in Hebron and Yeshivat HaNegev.

Bye, Abba! Bye, Ima!
Good luck, my son!
Those yeshivot got no money from the government – so his parents paid for everything: the dormitory, tuition and travel.

How sweet Torah learning is!
The neighbors asked how they could pay so much. Abba answered:

Isn't it too expensive?
There's no better investment!
At night in the dormitory, Yoram wrote a letter home:

Dear Abba and Ima – thank you for everything!
